Quick Change Artists

This is the most awesome magic trick I've ever seen. Daniel Michael Maas and Dania Kaseeva are quick change artists. And when I say "quick" then I mean really quick like in a second. I wish I would know that trick. That would be really helpful when I'm late in the morning;) That would be great. Too bad that artists don't share their tricks because I would love to know how to do that. Tell me how you like this after watching this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Axi58IkRkvk&feature=related

Russion Bar Trio

These guys are just amazing! The russian trio came from Canada to New York to audition in American`s Got Talent and they amazed everyone. Christine is the one who jumps on a bar that is only 4 inch wide which would be about the size of her foot, and does dangerous acts on it. Even the jury was scared to watch but they loved her. Just imagine though how hard it also must be for the barholders to not let the bar fall when Christine jumps on it. I don`t know how she manages to always land on the right spot and not next to it. She must have been practicing since she was little because I just couldn`t believe it when I saw it. I`ve never seen something like that before.. they just have talent:)

Mitchie Brusco

Today I found a talent that doesn`t have anything to do with music:) Mitchie Brusco is a 14-year old skateboarder and he is just amazing. He started started skateboarding when he was only 3 years old and when he was 8 he was already one of the country`s top young skateboarder. Mitchie lives in Kirkland, Washington with his family. I think he is an awesome skateboarder and it almost scared me seeing him skateboard like that because he is so young but he seems to know what he is doing and he is pretty good at it. It looks so easy when he does it but it`s not and that`s why I think that he has a great talent.

3 kids dancing hip hop

The 3 kids Gavin, Kris and Kida are only 8-9 years old but they can dance like it's the only thing they do since they were born. They are just amazing. First I found some videos of them dancing in a waiting room but then I also found one where they performed at the Ellen show. I could'nt believe how good they are. They are gonna be amazing dancers when they get older because even now it's impressive. To see young kids having such a great talent just makes you happy. I got 2 youtube videos here. One is where they are dancing in a waiting room and the other one is at the Ellen show : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMiZXwPWlio&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1

Hip Hop Dancing

Hip hop dancing is an urban ethnic dance form that has gained popularity in recent days. It is more common than the break dance of modern days. Hip hop dancing marked its beginning as part of the hip hop culture in the early 1900's, when the youth in and around Bronx, New York started dancing on the streets.
Hip hop dancing is an ideal way to express one's creativeness. It features self impressions and the dances come from the soul. The dancing represents body movements that go with the beat and rhythm of hip hop music. There is breaking, popping, locking, and free styling in hip hop dances. The jumps, breakages, and rotations in the movements are combined in such a way that the dance style becomes an informal and explosive one.
Hip hop dancing is considered a good exercise for those persons who perform these dances. It helps the dancers to improve flexibility, to develop body balance, and to coordinate the muscles. This dance allows the dancers to improve their own style and to remain in good body shape. It also leads the dancers to a state of spiritual wholeness.
Hip hop dancing includes many steps and movements that are not present in ballet and ballroom dancing. The jazz, ballet, and other traditional dance forms are technical and require more formal training. There is a term for each and every movement in jazz and ballets. But this is not the case with hip hop dancing and the dancers experience freedom while dancing. The only thing the dancers should have is to become familiar with the dancing technique.
Hip hop dancing can be learned by all those who are interested in dancing. There is no age limitation or restriction for learners and dancers. It is also not necessary that the instructor should be a professional dancer. However, this kind of dance is slightly difficult to learn because of the various body movements.

Joseph Poolpo

This guy is the best beatboxer I've ever heard. He can make whole songs with his voice. I found his video in youtube, too. He is from France and he participated at the show "Nouvelle Star". He is probably the most famous beatboxer in youtube. His talent is unique and he probably makes other beatboxers jealous with his amazing talent. Watch this video and you will see what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22fy9-EtlGM&feature=related&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1

This is what wikipedia says about beatboxing :

Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion which primarily involves the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one's mouth, lips, tongue and voice. It may also involve singing, vocal imitation of turntablism, the simulation of horns, strings, and other musical instruments. Beatboxing today is connected with hip hop culture, being one of "the elements", although it is not limited to hip hop music.[1][2]
The term "beatboxing" is sometimes used to refer to vocal percussion in general (see vocal percussion for details)

Ewan Dobson

Someone showed me this guy in youtube. His name is Ewan Dobson and he is a Canadian fingerstyle guitarist. His music is so cool because he can play bluegrass, classical music, folk, techno, heavy metal and trance on his guitar. In the youtube video I watched he was playing a techno song. It sounds so good. I never thought that a guitar could sound like that. He is very talented. It must be pretty hard to make all those sounds at the same time. I read  in an article that he got diagnosed with several illnesses like Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and mild Tourette's Syndrome. And he still doesn't give up which I think is pretty impressive and strong. I really like his musik.

Here is the youtube link. Enjoy : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXqPYte8tvc&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1

Bio

Ewan Dobson has established himself as one of Canada’s most brilliant and exhilarating guitarists, having won first prize in nearly every single Classical Guitar competition across the country. His impressive list of credentials include winning the Grand Prizes from both the Burlington Rotary Fall Music Festival and the Pickering Rotary Music Festival where he emerged victorious, after having competed against the top prize winners of all of the other disciplines. In addition to dominating the provincial competition circuit, Dobson has made his mark nationally having represented Ontario twice at the National Finals of the prestigious Canadian Music Competitions (CMC) and having been awarded the top prize in guitar. In the summer of 2009, Dobson was crowned the Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Champion at the prestigious 5th annual Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Competition held in Kingston, Ontario. Shortly after this victory, he captured another first prize in the acoustic category at the 4th Montreal Guitar Grand Prix. However, the highlight of this season took place when he caught the attention of the world by capturing 3rd place at the 38th International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship held in Winfield, Kansas.
Ewan Dobson has been under the tutelage of the guitarist Dr. Alvin Tung whom he has worked with for over six years. This has been very a fruitful relationship having resulted in being garnered with many distinctions and honours across Canada.
“Ewan Dobson is a young musician who demonstrates a level of virtuosity and refinement that is both rare and far beyond his years. His intense artistry will no doubt leave audiences spell-bound everywhere he performs” – Dr. Alvin Tung
In addition to his hectic competition history, Dobson has performed at many prestigious venues across Ontario including Hammerson Hall in Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre, the George Weston Recital Hall in the Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts and his recital debut in the Royal Bank Theatre of the Living Arts Centre under the auspices of the Chamber Music Society of Mississauga to name but a few. A versatile artist, he has been featured on many television programs on Rogers and CityTV and was in the top 10 on CKXU 88.3 FM Lethbridge, AB.  Corporate functions that he has performed at include the National Tourette’s Syndrome Conference and a Magnotta Winery fundraiser in support of Lymes Disease.
Past engagements included a concert in the inaugural season of the Lebovic Centre for the Performing Arts where he was featured performing his own compositions. In October of 2009 Ewan recorded his highly anticipated debut album with the acclaimed American label “Candyrat Records.”  The prize for winning the 2009 Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Competition in Kingston, Ontario was a recording contract with Candyrat Records along with a Stonebridge acoustic guitar.   The success of the first album led the record company to ask him to record another disc for them.
The development of Ewan Dobson into the artist that he is today has been an eclectic journey to say the least. After humble beginnings with his first electric guitar playing heavy metal and hard rock music to the structured discipline of his classical training, Dobson has expanded his repertoire to include Bluegrass, Metal, Canadian folk, Techno, Trance, Video Game and Contemporary Fingerstyle music. The culmination of all of these diverse influences has fuelled his creativity to compose his own unique brand of music and resulted in creating the captivating artist that he is today. Endorsed by Guptill Music in California, Dobson uses their ProPik Fingertone split-wrap finger picks. Ewan Dobson is a young artist of exceptional technical virtuosity and refined artistry that will enthral audiences wherever he performs.
Ewan has performed at the 2010 Montreal Jazz Festival alongside Gareth Pearson, Craig D’Andrea and Don Ross.  He also demonstrated guitars at the 2010 Montreal Guitar Show.
In September and October 2010 Ewan hit the road with fellow guitar virtuoso Antoine Dufour for his first Canadian tour that featured performance dates with the legendary Don Ross. This eastern tour brought Ewan to several cities including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Fredericton, Halifax, Charlottetown, New Glasgow, and more. The impression he left behind has already warranted a return trip within the year.
Ewan Dobson II, the new self-titled album released by Candyrat Records, brings with it 18 new recordings.  As generous as his last album, Ewan continues to deliver his unique style that has proven to be a force to be reckoned with.

Nuttin` But Stringz

Nuttin` But Stringz are two brothers, Damien and Tourie Escobar who both play violin. The exciting thing is that they play rap, classical, hip hop, R&B and Rock and Roll with their violin. I`ve never seen something like that before. It`s just amazing! They are from Queens in New York City and placed third on the third show of American`s Got Talent. I found a video of them in youtube when I was randomly looking at some stuff and I was amazed when I saw them playing. They have great Talent and do something unique. It`s very impressing how they do that because it is not easy to play how they do in all those different styles of music.
Watch this youtube link. You`re gonna love it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1MlE_Mo0Jw

Nothing But The Best From Nuttin' But Stringz

Urban rock violin duo Nuttin' But Stringz came by to talk about their success following their appearance on the third season of America's Got Talent. They also performed "Broken Sorrow" and "Thunder" live in our studio, both of which can be found on their Grammy-nominated album, Struggle From the Subway to the Charts. The title stems from their past, in which they played music on the subways for money, to their present-day success.
The New York duo grew up in Jamaica, Queens. Short-handed as N.B.S., the twosome comprises of teenage brothers Damien and Tourie Escobar. They are a breath of fresh air in the music industry today as they channel their streetwise style in a very unconventional way: through their violin-playing. Their music is an intense hybrid of classical music, R&B, hip-hop and jazz.
N.B.S. will be performing with Aretha Franklin at The Kennedy Center for Martin Luther King Day (January 19), as well as three different inaugural events during the week of President-Elect Barack Obama's inauguration week. In addition, they will be performing at the celeb-founded organization event "Declare Yourself" hosted by Jessica Alba and on-stage with music icons like Carrie Underwood on January 18

I hope you enjoyed it:)
